The end of rebirth or the end of suffering. Reclaim the original easing intention of King Ashoka’s (304 – 232 BCE) obelisks. The character on the monument in the distance attempts to send an ethereal message of compassion. The slenderness of the solid monolith seduces in its ascension, perhaps subverting the inspirational intention of secession. – Author’s notes
